What is BSTC
The complete form of BSTC is Basic School Teaching Certificate. It is an basic educating direction in (*90*) for aspiring academics of categories 1st to fifth. It is a two-year period direction. Now, the BSTC is renamed as Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
It is called by other names in other states, like Junior Basic Training (JBT) in Haryana and Chandigarh, and Primary Teacher in various other portions of the nation.
The BSTC entrance test is performed every year by the schooling department for round 25000 seats of the BSTC in the (*90*) state. This year the BSTC Entrance Test was performed on October 8, 2022.

Eligibility for BSTC
Age Limit: The candidate should not be more than 28 years outdated. The a very powerful date for the calculation of the age is July 1, 2022.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should be an intermediate pass/ 12th elegance pass to apply for the BSTC Exam. The category-wise qualifying marks in the 12th elegance are given as:
- General Category: 50%
- SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ Widow/ Divorcee Female: 45%
Application Fees for BSTC
The application fee is charged for the BSTC Exam. If a candidate needs to apply for both D.El.Ed (General), and D.El.Ed (Sanskrit), then the application fee is Rs. 500/-
If a candidate needs to apply for any one of the above classes, then the application fee is Rs. 450/-
BSTC Selection Process
The selection process for BSTC Admission includes the written exam followed by the counseling and institute allotment. The candidates can sign up for the allocated institute after the file verification and payment of charges.

BSTC 2022 Exam Pattern
The BSTC written exam is composed of 200 questions with 3 marks for every proper solution. There is no negative marking in the BSTC Written Test.
