Eligibility Criteria for GU PG Admission


Here is the eligibility criteria for admission into various publish graduate lessons under
Gauhati University.

MA and MSc Courses:

# B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. (in 10+2+3 pattern) with Major/honours lessons in the involved subject or
# B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. (in 10+2+3 pattern) with a general pass direction with at least 45% Marks in the involved subject as well as in mixture or equivalent CGPA.

MCom Course:

# B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. (in 10+2+3 pattern) with Major/honours lessons in the involved subject or
# B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. (in 10+2+3 pattern) with a general pass direction with at least 45% Marks in the involved subject as well as in mixture or equivalent CGPA.

# 45% Marks is to be calculated on the foundation of marks acquired in Part I and Part II of the (2+1) pattern and phase I, phase II and Part III of the (1+1+1) pattern .

GU PG Common Entrance Test


There will be a Common Entrance Test for admission into other Post Graduate Courses to be performed by Gauhati University (both for the University Departments and the Affiliated Colleges of the University) for the consultation 2022-23. Admissions will be primarily based strictly on the efficiency and eligibility criteria of the Entrance Examination

The Offline Entrance Test will be performed in the month of nineteenth July to twenty first July 2022.
