(*60*) Criteria of SBI PO Recruitment

Age Limit: Not
below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2022 i.e. candidates
must have been born not later than 01.04.2001 and not previous than
02.04.1992 (both days inclusive). 

Age Relaxation: The higher age limit is relaxable :(*180*)(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
For Persons with benchmark incapacity (PWD) by 10 years (upto 15 years
for SC/ST and upto 13 years for OBC (NCL) candidates).


Educational Qualification: Graduation in any self-discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. (*180*)Final Year Students: Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the commencement examination on or before 31.12.2022.

Selection Process of SBI PO Recruitment 

The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a 3 section process. All levels are as mentioned below:

Preliminary Examination (Phase I)

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be carried out online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each and every section) as follows:

Main Examination (Phase II)

Main Examination will be carried out online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered in an instant after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to kind their Descriptive Test solutions on the pc.(*180*)Objective Test: The period of purpose test is 3 hours and it is composed of 4 Sections of general 200 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

Descriptive Test: The period of Descriptive Test is half-hour. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for general 50 marks.

Interview (Phase III)

The third Phase may contain of Interview (30 marks) & Group Exercises (20 marks).(*180*)Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in Phase-III to be thought to be for ultimate selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
