Youth Employment Program (YEP) stems from the Tata Affirmative Action Program (TAAP) under the Corporate Social Responsibility umbrella of TCS and has been pushed since 2010 addressing the problem of unemployment among the socially and economically marginalized group in India. This program targets against offering proper opportunities and studying abilities to under-privileged households, so that they can exhibit their potential, sign up for the mainstream economic system, and shall have a dignified lifestyles.

Eligibility Criteria of TCS Youth Employment Program
Educational Qualification: Any non-engineering graduate brisker from arts, trade, or science backgrounds (BSC, BCom, BA, BBA, BCA)
Age Limit: Should not exceed 28 years of age.
Mode of Education: Regular. Distance Education is not allowed.
Year of Passing: 2021, 2022, 2023
Caste Preference: Candidate belongs to ST/SC/Tea Tribe/EWS will be given desire .
Other Criteria:
# Those pursuing/finished masters in complete time mode are Not Eligible .
# Those pursuing/finished masters in distance mode are Not Eligible .
# Availability of Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop/Desktop with proper web connectivity for virtual coaching .
TCS Youth Employment Program Training Details
The coaching will be of about 100+ hours, masking same old modules ready by TCS on Business Communication Skills, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Computers, Interview Skills, Resume development to identify a few.
This would be followed by trainings on particular domain names. Additionally, trainees will also be guided to take up Free Self-Learning Courses and business recognized certifications
Post Training Certification & Other Benefits
Trainees will obtain a virtual certificate of participation and completion from TCS which will stand as a testimony and accreditation of their employability possibilities in the company global.
The program targets at offering free employability coaching for the SC/ST, ladies, individuals with incapacity and other economically weaker candidates. Nearly 30,000+ have received significant employment which includes job in TCS also. The coaching has led to lifting out over 2,500 households out of poverty once a year.
