UPSC Geo-Scientist Recruitment 2022 Selection Process

The Combined Geo-Scientist Examination will consist of 3 successive levels as given below:-

  • Stage-I: Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination (Objective sort) has two papers for the selection of candidates for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination. Marks secured in the Preliminary Examination will be counted for deciding the ultimate advantage;
  • Stage-II: Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination (Descriptive Type) having 3 papers for selection of candidates for the Personality Test (Stage-III). Marks secured in the Main Examination will be counted for deciding the ultimate advantage; and
  • Stage-III: Personality Test/ Interview
